Stacy Bradley, Ph.D, R.Psych
Dr. Stacy Bradley is a registered psychologist with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology, and received her doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. Dr. Bradley provides psychotherapy to adults presenting with a wide range of psychological difficulties including anxiety, depression, complex trauma and abuse, PTSD, personality disorders, relationship difficulties, complex grief, issues related to sexuality, difficulties with life transitions, and workplace stress. She has worked across a number of clinical and academic settings including community-based mental health, outpatient hospital settings, private psychotherapy practices, and university and college settings.
Dr. Bradley has an integrated approach to psychotherapy, often focusing on the role of painful emotions and how these relate to anxiety, depression and problematic personal and relationship patterns. Dr. Bradley aims to collaboratively and compassionately work with individuals to enhance understanding of problematic emotional, thought and behavioural patterns that limit one’s ability to have close and meaningful relationships, and get in the way of living a fulfilling life. She has training in multiple different models of psychotherapy treatment, including Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). In addition to offering psychotherapy treatment, Dr. Bradley enjoys providing training and supervision to trainee and early career clinicians, and is committed to undertaking her own continued training and supervision.
