My approach to therapy centers around the importance of creating a strong therapeutic relationship where together we can explore emotions, address difficult thoughts, and practice skills to navigate tough situations. I would describe myself as an integrative therapist, and I draw on a variety of evidence-based therapies such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). Using these skills, I aim to facilitate a collaborative and attuned therapeutic relationship, to foster rapid and lasting change for you.

I offer a culturally responsive and anti-oppressive lens in my practice. I identify as a queer person and White settler of Italian, French, and English descent. I respect that intersections of identity are unique for each client and that those intersections impact power dynamics in the world and within the therapeutic relationship. I am committed to making the therapeutic experience safe and welcoming for each of my clients by openly discussing matters of power and privilege.

I have been providing psychotherapy services for the past ten years in university settings, private practice, and in health care. I provide individual therapy for a wide variety of concerns includingsupporting individuals as they navigate significant changes in their lives, including shifts in relationships, identity, academic/career changes, and immigration. This often includes addressing difficulties related to anxiety, mood, and trauma. Additionally, my expertise includes eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders, and somatic concerns. I take particular interest in working with individuals from the 2SLGBTQ+ population and strive to create an affirming and supportive space.

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Toronto, currently in the final stages of my degree. I completed my pre-doctoral and CPA accredited residency at Nova Scotia Health Authority in Halifax. I am currently working under the supervision of Dr. Joel Town.
