Dr. Cally Pevie is a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Newfoundland and Labrador Psychology Board. She received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. She completed her pre-doctoral residency in clinical psychology in NL, where she provided outpatient treatment and assessment to adult clients in community mental health, traumatic stress, and health psychology services. Dr. Pevie has been providing therapy services to adults with a wide range of concerns in a private practice psychology clinic since 2022. Her main areas of focus include relationship or interpersonal issues, trauma, mood and anxiety disorders, grief/loss, and existential concerns.

Dr. Pevie practices from an evidence-based integrative framework, tailoring therapeutic techniques to the client’s needs. She is trained in various psychotherapeutic modalities, including emotion and compassion-focused therapies. She is currently focused on training and specializing in Intensive Short-term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP). She also integrates elements of other evidence-supported approaches where appropriate. She works with clients to identify and break patterns causing their suffering and harness their capacity to develop healthy coping mechanisms and ways of relating to self and others. Her collaborative approach to treatment allows clients to begin creating the fulfilling and meaningful life they seek, in a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space.
